"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader.

He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

Adult Dogs' Species Appropriate Diet

Adult dogs can eat their meat in bigger pieces than puppies and do preferably get bones with lots of meat on such as a whole chicken or a whole fish or a big piece of green tripe etc.

Their daily portion can be calculated with the help of the Barf Calculator which you find in our download section or you do the maths:

Weight of your dog x 0,02 x 2 which would give you for a dog who weighs 20 kg: 20000 x 0,02 x 2 = 800g out of which 80% could be animal protein and 20% could be vegetables (75%) and fruit (25%) unless you leave vegetables and fruit out (see our downloadable list of vitamins and minerals contained in animal protein).

There is no special food needed for a certain breed as all dogs basically eat the same when being fed a Raw Diet. Differences occur in portion sizes and when there is a medical condition such as an allergy to be taken into account.
